Honu on Black Sand Earrings
This is an Archival Giclee of a miniature Watercolor painting of did of our native Hawaiian Sea Turtle, Honu. At a wonderful little black sand beach on the big Island of Hawaii, I go to watch the Honu come and sun bathe out on the Black sand and at a certain time of year, come and bury their eggs in the sand. Here I have painted the Honu on the black sand beach I visit them on. This is a true miniature. I never resize (shrink) my paintings. The size you see it is the size I paint it.
This set of earrings are mounted in Antique Brass settings with antique brass earring wires. This is a good metal for people with sensitive skin since it contains no Nickel, or Lead, or any other bad metals. We also seal each painting with Resin ensuring a supremely water resistant pair of earrings!
